It's a knitting tour de force, but leaves me wondering, what in the hell constitutes art? That Ferrari took weeks of her life and must have been a kick to knit. Challenging and playful. Now whattaya do with it? Once the giggle effect is done, does it continue to intrigue and satisfy? What if it gets dusty? I'm not totally surprised that it hasn't sold yet. I applaud her work, but I remain confused.
Wow. I wondered what was underneath and holding it up. Like Roxie, I kept wondering "why?" It's an interesting design project but is a copy of something in an unusual medium considered art? I saw a reproduction of the Mona Lisa done in bubble gum and do they consider that art? I can't imagine spending so much time on something like that. But then I'm an old lady of 50.....
That is absolutely incredible!
